Palo Alto Home Remodeling Project Details
This interior remodeling project included three main areas: the kitchen, the family room, and the front entry staircase. The kitchen was updated by replacing dated dark oak cabinets with crisp white cabinetry and Black Beauty granite for contrast. Removing two small kitchen windows allowed space for additional upper cabinets while the bay windows in the eating area continued to bring in natural light.
In the family room, Hammerschmidt Construction added a custom entertainment center and a drop zone for the family’s personal items. The front entry staircase was refreshed by restoring the stairs and painting the stringer and risers from dark brown to white.
